What is eusBIOTEK?

eusBIOTEK (Asociación Vasca de Biotecnología/Euskal Bioteknologia Elkartea) is a Basque biotechnology association that arises from the work of the students of the Degree in Biotechnology of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Officially founded in 2017, the objective of the association is to promote and improve the socio-economic situation of the biotechnological sector. Therefore, it has the purpose of representing and grouping both students and professionals with a common interest: Biotechnology. The improvement in training, the integration in the professional world and the divulgation to promote scientific knowledge and to make it accessible to the whole society are the three fundamental pillars of eusBIOTEK. For this reason, the association organizes all kinds of events: from formative talks to scientific divulgation workshops.
