If I am not a Biotechnologist, can I become a member?

Of course! Although eusBIOTEK is mostly composed of Biotechnologists, there are also people from Biochemistry, Biology and Chemical Engineering. The only requirement is to be interested in Biotechnology, so any profile is welcome!

Do I have to be a student to be a member?

No, anyone, whether student or professional, can be a member.

If I am not from the Basque Country, but I am residing here, can I become a member of eusBIOTEK?

Of course! Membership in eusBIOTEK is not restricted to anyone. On many occasions, the science professions make us spend several years of our life studying, working or doing internships in different areas of the country, so wherever you are from, you are more than welcome!

How much does it cost to be a member?

The fee to be a member of eusBIOTEK is only 10 euros per year. EIf you are a first-year student, the first year of registration is free.

How can I become a member?

You can become a member of eusBIOTEK by filling in the registration form that you can find here.

I am already a member; how do I renew the membership?

Membership renewal takes place annually, between February and April. This renewal will be indicated by the Board of Directors through the association’s mail.

If I am a member of eusBIOTEK, am I also a member of FEBiotec?

Yes. By being a member of a FEBiotec Member Association (as eusBIOTEK) you become directly a member of FEBiotec.

Do I have to be a member to attend the activities you organize?

In general, most of the activities we organize are open and for the entire public. However, there are events of a private nature that we organize only for the members of the association.

Can I request a transfer to another FEBiotec Member Association?

We are aware that it is possible that throughout your professional life you end up living in the area where another Member Association is active, or that you are a member of eusBIOTEK because at the time there was no Member Association in your Autonomous Community. Therefore, it is possible to request a transfer..
